Our founder Bill Carter spent 25 years as a Professional Engineer inside TXU, watching how the system really worked.

When deregulation hit, he witnessed the chaos from the inside.

Bill saw good people accidentally getting hurt by it, not because they weren't smart, but because the system became more complex rather than simpler.

After three decades in the industry, Bill knew he had a choice: stay comfortable in the corporate machine, or use his inside knowledge to help the people who needed it most.
